About this role

Profound seeks a Technical Operations Engineer to build scalable, automated IT infrastructure supporting their AI marketing platform. You'll own identity management, endpoint security, and operational systems while partnering with engineering teams across multiple global offices to enable rapid growth.

What you'll do

  • Manage macOS devices, Google Workspace, MDM, and AWS infrastructure with focus on automation and reliability
  • Troubleshoot complex multi-system failures and perform root cause analysis across identity, endpoint, and cloud systems
  • Create runbooks, documentation, and self-service solutions that empower engineers and reduce support burden
  • Design and implement compliance controls, device provisioning, and access management systems
  • Identify recurring issues and build systematic fixes; mentor team members on troubleshooting methodology
  • Lead projects addressing operational pain points and streamline onboarding for rapid hiring

  • IT operations and incident management with 2+ years supporting engineering teams
  • Identity management and single sign-on (Okta, SAML, OIDC, SCIM)
  • macOS and Apple ecosystem expertise with MDM tools like Mosyle
  • Google Workspace administration and multi-cloud support (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Scripting and automation using Python, TypeScript, or Bash
  • Network troubleshooting (DNS, VPNs, routing) and infrastructure as code
  • Systems thinking with strong communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Root cause analysis, pattern recognition, and independent judgment
