About this role
Machina Labs seeks a Robotics Automation Engineer in Test to establish quality standards and validate releases for intelligent manufacturing software controlling robotic production cells. You'll own the testing strategy, run hands-on experiments on physical systems, and gate production deployments for defense, aerospace, and advanced mobility customers.
What you'll do
- Define and enforce quality strategy for robotics and automation software systems
- Validate release candidates through testing and experimentation on production cells
- Execute hands-on testing and troubleshooting on physical robotic systems
- Support issue triage and root cause analysis across the automation stack
- Approve transitions from release candidate to official production release
- Collaborate with robotics, controls, and software engineering teams on deployments
