About this role
Machina Labs seeks a Robotic Process Engineer Intern to support RoboForming, an advanced robotic metal forming process. You'll work on CAD tools, robot programming, process optimization, and data analysis to transform digital designs into physical production, collaborating with a team building next-generation software-driven factories.
What you'll do
- Support CAD manipulation and digital design conversion for robotic processes
- Generate and optimize robot tool paths for metal forming operations
- Analyze forming and scan data to improve process performance
- Collaborate on process optimization and engineering strategies
- Assist with internal tooling and manufacturing automation systems
- Provide real-world engineering feedback for process iteration
