About this role

Lynk seeks a Test Engineer to design and execute hardware testing for satellite payload systems, including bench-level debugging, test fixture development, and automation of verification procedures. The role combines hands-on electronics work with ground support equipment development for space technology validation.

What you'll do

  • Integrate space hardware and design test beds, fixtures, and procedures for payload verification
  • Develop and maintain Electronic Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) for satellite testing
  • Perform bench-level troubleshooting and debugging during functional and environmental testing
  • Collaborate with engineers to optimize testing procedures and policies
  • Automate testing and data collection tools for reliable, repeatable verification
  • Support testing before, during, and after environmental and functional validation

  • RF lab equipment operation (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers)
  • Microcontrollers, FPGAs, single-board computers, and software-defined radios
  • Programming in C++, C, Python, or MATLAB
  • Linux and Windows systems administration
  • 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Schematic design and IC datasheet interpretation
  • Space hardware design, integration, and test experience
  • EMI/environmental testing and GD&T tolerance analysis
