About this role

Lynk seeks an RF Systems Test Engineer to develop and execute automated testing procedures for digital phased array antenna payloads used in satellite-to-phone technology. This hands-on role combines hardware integration, RF instrumentation, firmware development, and bench-level troubleshooting to verify complex mixed-signal systems at scale for production and R&D.

What you'll do

  • Design and build RF test beds, fixtures, and hardware integration setups for flight and lab electronics verification
  • Create comprehensive test procedures and documentation for RF front-ends, mixed-signal digital electronics, and phased array systems
  • Develop Electronic Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) hardware and software for payload verification during functional and environmental testing
  • Perform hands-on bench-level debugging and troubleshooting of RF hardware issues during testing campaigns
  • Build automated testing and data collection tools to enable reliable, repeatable, scalable production testing
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to optimize testing procedures and policies for R&D and production

What they're looking for

  • RF systems design and testing
  • RF lab equipment operation (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, VNAs)
  • RFFE boards, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and single-board computers
  • Linux systems and programming (C++, C, Python, MATLAB, Rust)
  • Electronic circuit assembly and soldering
  • IC datasheet interpretation and mixed-signal electronics
  • Test automation and software development
  • Communication protocols (Ethernet, serial, CAN)
