About this role

Flock is hiring a UAS Support Engineer to serve as the technical backbone of their drone fleet operations in Atlanta. You'll diagnose hardware issues, analyze flight telemetry, and directly influence the next generation of drone improvements by bridging field operations with engineering teams.

What you'll do

  • Troubleshoot complex drone system failures including airframe, connectivity, and radar components
  • Analyze post-flight telemetry using diagnostic tools like Foxglove and Grafana to assess vehicle performance
  • Develop performance dashboards and KPIs for drone system reliability and engineering escalation
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides for support teams
  • Conduct hands-on hardware testing and QA for new drone and docking systems
  • Communicate technical findings between field operations and engineering to drive product improvements
