About this role
FinQuery, a leader in AI-powered accounting automation, seeks a Product Engineer to own both product strategy and implementation for their lease accounting platform. You'll combine product management expertise with strong engineering skills to directly solve customer problems and shape the vision for their rapidly growing SaaS platform.
What you'll do
- Define product vision and strategy based on deep understanding of customer financial workflows
- Conduct user research and gather requirements directly from finance and accounting teams
- Write production-grade code to implement features end-to-end
- Own the full cycle from problem discovery through technical solution delivery
- Collaborate with customers to understand compliance and technical accounting needs
- Drive product decisions without relying solely on backlogs from traditional product owners
