About this role
Figma is seeking a Security Engineer to drive security improvements across AI, Platform, Product, and Anti-Abuse teams. You'll conduct security assessments, design protective solutions, and respond to incidents while collaborating cross-functionally to reduce organizational risk.
What you'll do
- Perform security assessments, code audits, and design reviews for product, cloud, and AI infrastructure
- Design and develop technical solutions to prevent security vulnerabilities and mitigate risks
- Conduct penetration testing and offensive security exercises
- Build platforms and tooling to detect and respond to security threats
- Participate in security incident response and vulnerability triage
- Advocate for secure development and operational practices across teams

- Security Engineering or Software Engineering experience (5+ years)
- Threat modeling and risk prioritization
- General-purpose coding language proficiency
- Cloud security or application security expertise
- System design and architecture
