About this role
MISUMI Americas seeks a Customer Support Engineer to blend technical expertise with sales enablement, supporting engineers and procurement teams through multiple channels while promoting product solutions and handling complex quoting opportunities.
What you'll do
- Provide technical design support via phone, email, and chat on materials, tolerances, CAD models, and engineering calculations
- Deliver technical presentations to design engineering groups as a subject matter expert
- Handle large, custom, and competitor cross-over quoting opportunities to capture new business
- Promote MISUMI products and educate customers on features to drive sales growth
- Manage product databases, website content, and catalog information for accuracy
- Support trade shows, catalog reviews, and quality compliance initiatives
