About this role

E-Space seeks a PLC Programmer/Controls and Power Systems Engineer to develop and maintain advanced control systems for aerospace manufacturing equipment, primarily Siemens PLC-based platforms. You'll optimize thin-film production machinery and proprietary roll-to-roll systems while collaborating with manufacturers and process teams to enhance reliability and performance.

What you'll do

  • Program, modify, and troubleshoot Siemens PLC-based control systems on manufacturing equipment
  • Support and improve both OEM production machines and proprietary roll-to-roll manufacturing systems
  • Enhance system reliability, safety, throughput, and closed-loop feedback functionality
  • Collaborate with equipment manufacturers, process engineers, and production teams
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment performance issues
  • Implement control system improvements for aerospace thin-film production
