Dyna Robotics
Software Engineer, Applications
About this role
Dyna Robotics seeks a Software Engineer to build deployment infrastructure for AI-powered robots scaling across multiple customer sites. You'll design internal tools and systems that streamline robot deployment, fleet monitoring, and diagnostics while partnering closely with operations teams to transform manual workflows into reliable, repeatable processes.
What you'll do
- Design and ship deployment platform tools including site configuration, fleet monitoring, remote diagnostics, and operational dashboards
- Embed with Operations team to identify field challenges and standardize deployment workflows across sites
- Build data pipelines routing fleet performance and failure cases back to research teams for model improvement
- Conduct applied research on model stability and consistency in unpredictable real-world environments
- Design end-to-end infrastructure bridging on-robot software with off-board computing and cloud operations
- Champion testing, continuous integration, and scalable software practices for production robotics systems
What they're looking for
- Python and full-stack software development
- Systems architecture and software design patterns
- Backend systems and application-level development
- Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Cross-domain infrastructure spanning edge devices and cloud services
- Fleet operations and internal tooling development
- AI/ML model deployment and monitoring
- Cross-functional communication with research, ops, and hardware teams
