Divergent seeks an Industrial Robotics Engineer to develop advanced algorithms for task planning, motion planning, and computer vision within their adaptive production system. You'll collaborate with experienced engineers to design and optimize robotic software solutions for automotive, aerospace, and defense applications.

What you'll do

  • Develop and optimize task and motion planning algorithms using robotics principles and programming expertise
  • Design, integrate, and test computer vision software for real-world robotic applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless software integration across products
  • Implement software development best practices including testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code quality standards
  • Document algorithms, code, and procedures to support knowledge sharing and future development
  • Stay current with advancements in robot planning algorithms and contribute innovative ideas
