About this role
Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS while managing system lifecycle, cost optimization, and operational excellence. This role bridges cloud engineering with financial planning to ensure efficient resource utilization and production system reliability.
What you'll do
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure, systems, and networking solutions aligned with business needs
- Develop and maintain as-built documentation and manage hardware/software lifecycle
- Evaluate change requests and their impact on production systems
- Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization across AWS platform
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system infrastructure and application issues
- Monitor system performance, analyze logs and metrics to identify bottlenecks

- AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, VPC, EBS, CloudWatch, CLI)
- Linux and Windows operating systems
- Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
- Distributed systems and hybrid/cloud-native architecture

- Microservices and containerization technologies
- Network protocols (TCP/UDP, HTTPS, SSH, TLS, IPSec, GRE)
