About this role

Crusoe seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design, oversee, and commission mechanical systems for advanced AI data centers. You'll manage HVAC, piping, plumbing, and fire protection systems from conceptual design through testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge infrastructure.

What you'll do

  • Develop analytical models and equipment layouts for utility plants and mechanical systems
  • Review mechanical designs, coordinate with architects and engineers, and provide technical recommendations
  • Monitor installation of piping, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems on-site for compliance and quality
  • Conduct testing, analyze data, and troubleshoot mechanical systems during commissioning
  • Review shop drawings, manage vendor relationships, and respond to RFIs
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards
