Facilities Engineer
About this role
Crusoe seeks a Facilities Engineer to manage critical physical infrastructure at their Sparks, NV data center supporting AI compute operations. You'll oversee electrical, HVAC, cooling, and building management systems while partnering with operations and construction teams to maintain uptime and efficiency standards.
What you'll do
- Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of electrical systems (UPS, PDUs, generators), HVAC, cooling plants, and building management systems
- Lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs; track work orders and resolve facility issues
- Monitor facility health through DCIM and BMS platforms to identify anomalies and prevent downtime
- Support capital projects including facility expansions, retrofits, and equipment upgrades from planning through commissioning
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and fire/life safety codes; maintain critical documentation
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and coordinate with third-party vendors for specialized services
