About this role
Crusoe seeks a Principal Systems Integration Engineer to lead R&D efforts defining next-generation AI data center architecture. You'll evaluate emerging technologies, develop reference architectures spanning electrical, mechanical, thermal, and compute domains, and guide innovations from pilot validation through hyperscale deployment.
What you'll do
- Lead development of next-generation data center reference architectures integrating across multiple engineering disciplines
- Scan industry for emerging technologies and conduct full-system evaluations of vendor capabilities and standards
- Define systems-level architecture ensuring coherence across electrical, mechanical, thermal, and compute domains
- Guide technologies through lifecycle from bench-scale testing through pilot deployment to hyperscale rollout
- Author system specifications, interface control documents, and design standards for production teams
- Partner with internal engineering teams and external vendors, startups, and research institutions on technology evaluation
