Infrastructure Engineer
About this role
Counsel Health is seeking a Backend Infrastructure Engineer to bridge application and infrastructure work at a rapidly scaling AI-driven healthcare platform. You'll own CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, backend services, and developer tooling while working in a HIPAA-regulated environment.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform on AWS
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable, automated deployments
- Write production backend services and core server-side systems
- Create reusable archetypes and patterns for deployments, jobs, and workers
- Improve developer experience through workflow optimization and internal tooling
- Implement security and compliance controls in a HIPAA-regulated environment
