About this role

Compa, an AI-powered compensation intelligence platform serving major enterprises, seeks a Software Engineer to build and maintain full-stack systems that help companies make data-driven pay decisions. You'll have significant ownership in shipping features across web and backend, collaborating closely with product and design teams.

What you'll do

  • Develop and deploy production-grade software across web applications and backend systems
  • Build new features and enhance existing workflows in partnership with product and design teams
  • Write maintainable, scalable code and contribute to architectural decisions
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical roadmap discussions
  • Solve problems spanning data pipelines, user experience, and enterprise workflows

What they're looking for

  • Production software development (2+ years)
  • Modern web development language or framework
  • Full-stack or specialized frontend/backend development
  • Python and/or Django (preferred)
  • React and TypeScript (preferred)
  • AWS infrastructure
  • Autonomous problem-solving and communication
  • Data-driven product experience (preferred)
