About this role

Join Cohere Health's Data Platform team as a Software Engineer II to design and maintain scalable data pipelines supporting analytics and clinical intelligence. This remote-first role focuses on building reliable, governed data systems using modern cloud-native tools while collaborating across engineering and analytics teams.

What you'll do

  • Design and build scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and curation from internal and external sources
  • Implement schema validation, data quality checks, and job monitoring to ensure trustworthy data outputs
  • Collaborate with analytics engineers, architects, and product partners to define technical requirements and deliver data products
  • Write clean, testable code in Python and SQL with strong version control and documentation practices
  • Optimize and monitor production workflows using Airflow, dbt, AWS services, Kafka, and modern table formats
  • Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to engineering excellence through code reviews and knowledge sharing
