Forward Deployed Engineer
About this role
An early-stage healthtech startup is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to build AI-powered staffing automation software for urgent care and emergency medicine groups. You'll split time between shipping product features and working directly with customers at their sites, requiring frequent travel and end-to-end ownership of deployments.
What you'll do
- Build full-stack features using TypeScript, React, Node.js, Deno, and SQL
- Work directly with clinical and operational teams to gather requirements and iterate on solutions
- Deploy and operate services on AWS; troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Travel frequently (often weekly) to customer sites for on-site engagements and deployments
- Contribute to product design and rapid prototyping from concept to shipped code
- Help coordinate team logistics during travel including accommodations and transportation
