About this role

Clay is seeking senior or staff-level Security Engineers to build a modern security organization from the ground up. You'll write production code for security tooling and detection systems while leveraging AI to scale security operations across a rapidly growing platform serving thousands of enterprise customers.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement security tooling, detection systems, and remediation pipelines
  • Secure cloud infrastructure including IAM, network policies, container security, and secrets management
  • Define AI-assisted vulnerability discovery and automated code review strategies
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure and Product teams to embed secure defaults into workflows
  • Own end-to-end security projects from design through implementation and measurement
  • Establish least-privilege access patterns across services and users
