Network Engineer
About this role
Contact Government Services seeks an experienced Network Engineer in Los Angeles to design, implement, and maintain large-scale network infrastructure for a government project. You'll evaluate existing systems, oversee both wired and wireless deployments, conduct security assessments, and collaborate with governmental and vendor stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Evaluate, design, and implement comprehensive network infrastructure including wireless, wired, and software components
- Administer Cloudpath onboarding, monitor wireless health, and troubleshoot network issues during business hours
- Develop network documentation, maintain diagrams, and update technical records in JIRA and Wiki
- Conduct systems testing, vulnerability assessments, and quality assurance for new implementations
- Review best practices and recommend improvements for network architecture, design, and operations
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to government resources on network products and best practices
