About this role

CGS seeks an experienced Java developer to enhance data utilization for a large state-run project by aggregating data from multiple sources and designing systems for collection, processing, storage, and reporting. The role requires expertise in Java web applications, JSF framework, and enterprise-scale systems within a collaborative government contracting environment.

What you'll do

  • Aggregate and integrate data from multiple existing sources into enterprise systems
  • Design and develop Java web applications using Java Server Faces Framework
  • Collaborate with business analysts and QA teams on software design and testing procedures
  • Write, test, and debug high-quality code while tracking progress against project plans
  • Integrate individual software solutions with databases and higher-level systems
  • Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to support end users
