About this role
CGS seeks an experienced Java developer to enhance data utilization for a large state-run project by aggregating data from multiple sources and designing systems for collection, processing, storage, and reporting. You'll work with enterprise-scale applications, collaborating across business and development teams to deliver robust web solutions.
What you'll do
- Aggregate and prepare data from multiple existing sources for large-scale enterprise systems
- Design and develop Java web applications using Java Server Faces Framework
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers on software design and specifications
- Integrate Java applications with SQL databases using Hibernate and create related database designs
- Test, debug, and perform code reviews to ensure quality and security
- Provide project status updates, work estimates, and documentation for user support
