About this role

CGS is hiring an experienced Desktop/Workstation Design Engineer in Atlanta to lead desktop and server OS image architecture, deployment strategies, and technology planning. This role involves designing enterprise-wide solutions using MECM and MDT, managing software distribution, and ensuring security compliance across large-scale deployments.

What you'll do

  • Serve as subject matter expert for Desktop OS image development and enterprise deployment
  • Design and implement large-scale software deployment solutions using MECM, MDT, and related technologies
  • Develop and test software distribution packages for desktops, laptops, tablets, and servers
  • Manage OS patching infrastructure and coordinate mandatory security updates
  • Analyze and recommend hardware solutions for various enterprise endpoints
  • Perform security assessments, vulnerability reviews, and patch management activities
