About this role
CGS is hiring an experienced Desktop/Workstation Design Engineer in Atlanta to lead desktop and server OS image architecture, deployment strategies, and technology planning. This role involves designing enterprise-wide solutions using MECM and MDT, managing software distribution, and ensuring security compliance across large-scale deployments.
What you'll do
- Serve as subject matter expert for Desktop OS image development and enterprise deployment
- Design and implement large-scale software deployment solutions using MECM, MDT, and related technologies
- Develop and test software distribution packages for desktops, laptops, tablets, and servers
- Manage OS patching infrastructure and coordinate mandatory security updates
- Analyze and recommend hardware solutions for various enterprise endpoints
- Perform security assessments, vulnerability reviews, and patch management activities

- PowerShell and VB scripting
- Windows 7 to Windows 10 migration experience
