Data Engineer
About this role
CGS is hiring a mid-level Data Engineer to design and maintain data pipelines for a federal analytics platform. You'll work with cross-functional Agile teams to build ETL processes, ensure data quality, and help government customers derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
What you'll do
- Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines for ingestion, storage, and delivery to stakeholders
- Write and optimize code for data extraction, transformation, and processing across structured and unstructured sources
- Build and maintain ETL processes with rigorous testing and validation
- Support continuous automation and CI/CD integration for data workflows
- Collaborate with program managers and engineers to implement evolving technical requirements
- Communicate data strategies and solutions across technical and non-technical audiences
