About this role
CGS is hiring a mid-level Data Engineer in Boston to build and maintain data pipelines and analytics solutions for federal government clients. You'll design ETL processes, manage complex datasets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights using modern data technologies.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain end-to-end data pipelines for extraction, storage, and provisioning to stakeholders
- Design and implement ETL processes with validation and testing for structured and unstructured data
- Write performant code in Python, R, SQL, or SAS to ensure reliable data processing
- Support continuous automation and optimization of data ingestion workflows
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and UX teams to translate requirements into data solutions
- Document complex requirements and implement CI/CD best practices for code quality
