CommVault Systems Engineer
About this role
CGS seeks an experienced CommVault Systems Engineer to design, configure, and support enterprise backup and recovery solutions for a large federal government organization. The role involves managing complex data protection infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring compliance with federal security requirements.
What you'll do
- Design, configure, and deploy Commvault backup and recovery solutions across complex, geographically dispersed environments
- Create and maintain optimal backup, restore, and redundancy strategies including primary/auxiliary copies and VM backups
- Troubleshoot complex backup and recovery problems spanning networking, applications, servers, hardware, and appliances
- Provide analytics, capacity planning, and reporting within Commvault management systems
- Implement security updates and patches in compliance with federal requirements and DISA STIGs
- Collaborate with operations teams to develop enterprise infrastructure processes and support data replication requests
