CGS seeks an experienced Cloud Engineer (AWS) to design and document cloud solutions for a large federal agency. The role involves architecting scalable, secure cloud infrastructure, supporting migrations, and facilitating operational transitions while collaborating with government stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Design cloud solutions that balance flexibility, scalability, and security compliance requirements
- Develop comprehensive documentation for engineering, security, and operational processes
- Conduct business and technical analysis to support customer decision-making
- Perform AWS cloud migrations including lift-and-shift approaches
- Facilitate solution transitions to operations and ensure systems meet performance boundaries
- Design large-scale distributed applications with strong architectural focus on availability and reliability
