Cloud and Storage Engineer
About this role
Contact Government Services seeks an experienced Cloud and Storage Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a large-scale EMC-based SAN infrastructure for a federal agency. You'll develop storage architecture standards, manage complex multi-enterprise solutions, and ensure 24/7 uptime while supporting disaster recovery and cloud environments.
What you'll do
- Design and implement full-scale SAN architecture for EMC-based infrastructure supporting petabytes of storage
- Develop standards and processes for storage configuration, optimization, replication, virtualization, and security
- Perform capacity planning, utilization reporting, and cost modeling for storage solutions
- Troubleshoot complex SAN infrastructure issues and coordinate resolutions with internal and external customers
- Architect and maintain private cloud and hybrid cloud environments, including Gov Cloud experience
- Execute security tasks including vulnerability assessments, patch management, and compliance auditing
