Cloud and Storage Engineer
About this role
Contact Government Services seeks an experienced Cloud and Storage Engineer to design and manage large-scale EMC SAN infrastructure for a federal agency client. You'll develop storage architecture, implement best practices, and ensure 24/7 system reliability while supporting complex, geographically dispersed enterprise environments.
What you'll do
- Design and implement full-scale SAN architecture across EMC storage arrays with petabyte-level capacity
- Develop standards and processes for storage configuration, optimization, replication, virtualization, and disaster recovery
- Perform capacity planning, utilization reporting, and technical documentation for storage solutions
- Troubleshoot complex SAN infrastructure issues and coordinate with internal and external customers
- Manage scheduled maintenance and infrastructure projects while maintaining 24/7/365 uptime
- Handle security tasks including vulnerability assessments, patch management, and compliance auditing
