About this role

CGS seeks an experienced Cloud and Storage Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale SAN infrastructure for a federal agency. The role involves developing storage architecture, disaster recovery strategies, capacity planning, and maintaining 24/7 uptime across complex multi-platform environments.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement full-scale SAN architecture using EMC storage arrays and fiber channel connectivity
  • Develop standards and processes for storage configuration, optimization, replication, virtualization, and disaster recovery
  • Perform storage capacity planning, utilization reporting, and cost modeling
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders
  • Execute scheduled maintenance and infrastructure projects while ensuring continuous uptime
  • Manage security tasks including vulnerability assessments, patch management, and compliance auditing
