About this role
CesiumAstro seeks a Wire Harness Design Engineer II to design critical power, digital, analog, and RF interconnects for satellite and aerospace systems. You'll own the complete harness design lifecycle—from specifications through integration—collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams in a dynamic startup environment.
What you'll do
- Design and develop wire harness schematics, cable routing, and connector selections
- Create harness assembly drawings and technical documentation
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and assembly technicians on system integration
- Manage full design lifecycle from initial specifications through testing
- Ensure power, digital, analog, and RF interconnect reliability and performance
