About this role
CesiumAstro seeks a Power Electronics Engineer II in El Segundo to design and develop advanced power electronics systems for satellite and space platforms. You'll work across the full product lifecycle, from architectural planning through testing and manufacturing support, in a collaborative cross-functional environment.
What you'll do
- Define power system architectures and conduct trade studies for spacecraft payloads
- Perform detailed circuit design and simulation for space power systems
- Execute PCB layout and design for power electronics hardware
- Conduct verification and integration testing of power systems
- Support manufacturing and integration of next-generation satellite hardware
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams in spacecraft payload development
