About this role
Cape, a privacy-focused mobile carrier, is hiring a Security Engineer to protect its AWS cloud infrastructure, mobile core systems, and applications. You'll design security controls, conduct vulnerability assessments, and embed security practices into DevOps workflows while mentoring the team and staying ahead of emerging threats.
What you'll do
- Design and manage security controls and policies in AWS environments to protect data confidentiality, integrity, and availability
- Perform comprehensive security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify risks and recommend mitigations
- Integrate security practices into the DevOps lifecycle and development processes
- Optimize AWS security tools (GuardDuty, Inspector, IAM, KMS, WAF, Shield) and evaluate third-party solutions
- Lead penetration test remediation efforts and address security audit findings
- Mentor junior security team members and promote organizational security awareness
