About this role

C1.ai is hiring a Software Engineer to build a foundational identity platform that manages access across modern enterprise systems, SaaS, infrastructure, and AI agents. You'll work end-to-end on high-impact projects in a small, fast-moving team that values shipping over process.

What you'll do

  • Own projects from design through production, including data modeling, API development, UI implementation, and customer communication
  • Make architectural decisions and scope tradeoffs independently without excessive oversight
  • Build features across the full stack—frontend, backend, and infrastructure as needed
  • Collaborate with customers, design, and product teams to validate what's worth building
  • Maintain high standards for code quality, system design, and operational reliability
  • Contribute to platform integrations with external systems and AI agents
