Early-career structural engineer needed to evaluate industrial structures, perform calculations and modeling, and design rehabilitation plans. This role offers hands-on field experience and mentorship from licensed professionals while developing expertise in steel and concrete design.
What you'll do
- Conduct field evaluations of existing industrial structures
- Develop analytical models and perform calculations for steel and concrete
- Design rehabilitation and replacement plans with material specifications
- Prepare technical reports and documentation
- Provide quality control support during structural construction
- Support root cause failure analysis investigations

- STAAD modeling software (required)
- AutoCAD (preferred)
- Knowledge of ACI 318, AISC, ASCE-7, IBC codes
- Steel and concrete analysis
- Written and verbal communication
- Physical mobility and ability to work at heights
- Safety compliance and PPE protocols
- Report writing
