About this role
A Project Engineer position supporting maintenance, reliability, and capital projects across oil & gas, chemical, and manufacturing sectors. The role involves coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines and stakeholders while managing project planning, scheduling, and contractor interfaces, with potential assignments at client sites or the Lisle, IL office.
What you'll do
- Assist Project Managers in planning, organizing, and controlling project aspects from award through closeout
- Serve as technical communication lead coordinating across engineering disciplines, clients, contractors, vendors, and management
- Develop Scopes of Work for engineered construction designs
- Process and manage vendor submittals through revisions and equipment releases
- Monitor project adherence to scope and schedule
- Lead client and contractor meetings, attend site visits, and produce written reports
