Instrument Engineer
About this role
Support senior instrument engineers in designing and documenting process instrumentation systems for industrial projects. Conduct site surveys, compile technical documentation, and prepare detailed instrumentation drawings and specifications while developing engineering expertise under mentorship.
What you'll do
- Conduct instrument site surveys and walkthroughs to assess existing systems
- Create as-built and as-found instrumentation documentation
- Search for and compile client instrumentation project documents
- Generate technical deliverables including loop drawings, P&IDs, and instrument lists
- Prepare DCS/PLC I/O lists and installation detail specifications
- Work at heights and in challenging field conditions while maintaining safety protocols
