Associate Structural Engineer
About this role
Structural engineer needed to evaluate industrial facilities, perform structural analysis and modeling, and design rehabilitation or replacement solutions. Requires fieldwork at various sites and coordination with licensed professionals to develop expertise in structural design and failure analysis.
What you'll do
- Lead field evaluations and inspections of existing industrial structures
- Develop analytical models and perform calculations for steel, concrete, and other materials
- Design rehabilitation and replacement plans with detailed specifications
- Conduct root cause analysis of structural failures and defects
- Provide technical support and quality control during construction
- Write reports and documentation for projects

- STAAD/SAP and analytical modeling software
- Knowledge of ACI 318, AISC, ASCE-7, and IBC codes
- AutoCAD (preferred)
- AWS D.1. welding standards (preferred)
- Written and verbal communication
- Basic team coordination and leadership

- Field assessment and evaluation techniques
