About this role
BRINC is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to design and maintain scalable backend systems supporting real-time drone and public safety services. You'll own core platform components, ensure security and performance, and collaborate across hardware and autonomy teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
What you'll do
- Own and maintain scalable backend platform supporting global real-time services
- Ensure platform security, reliability, and performance at scale
- Build infrastructure and tooling for the platform
- Prototype new features and solutions for customers and stakeholders
- Collaborate with hardware and autonomy teams on live data streaming solutions
- Design and implement APIs serving non-technical end users
