About this role

Brellium is seeking a Backend or Fullstack Software Engineer to build and scale AI-powered systems for their medical review platform that helps healthcare providers improve patient care quality. You'll integrate modern LLMs into production applications, design end-to-end AI systems, and work in a fast-paced startup environment serving 250,000+ providers across the U.S.

What you'll do

  • Integrate large language models and modern AI frameworks into real-world healthcare applications
  • Design and build complete AI-centric systems from data pipelines to user interfaces
  • Create evaluation pipelines and metrics to ensure AI agents and workflows are robust and continuously improving
  • Collaborate with Product teams to deliver high-quality features quickly
  • Own end-to-end data workflows and AWS deployments
  • Contribute ideas in a collaborative environment focused on improving healthcare delivery

  • AI application development and AI-centric system architecture
  • Modern AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex) and LLM APIs
  • SQL and relational database expertise
