About this role

Brain Co., a well-funded AI startup, seeks an experienced infrastructure engineer to design and operate scalable Kubernetes and Terraform-based systems supporting AI workloads across government, healthcare, and critical industry customers. You'll lead infrastructure standards, observability, and multi-region deployments while partnering with technical leaders and mentoring engineers.

What you'll do

  • Design and scale Kubernetes and Terraform infrastructure across customer environments
  • Define standards for networking, security, CI/CD, and multi-region deployments
  • Build metrics, logging, tracing, dashboards, and establish SLOs
  • Diagnose and optimize performance in distributed systems and AI workloads
  • Support high-performance inference, data pipelines, and large-scale backend services
  • Partner with technical leaders on architecture and mentor engineers
