About this role

Join Blacksmith as a Solutions Engineer to bridge sales and technical delivery for a fast-growing CI infrastructure platform. You'll lead technical discovery, design proof-of-concepts, and guide enterprise customers through CI modernization while influencing product direction based on customer feedback.

What you'll do

  • Lead technical discovery, demos, and POCs with engineering and DevOps teams to validate CI performance improvements and ROI
  • Act as trusted technical advisor to architects and CTO-level stakeholders, translating business pain into Blacksmith solutions
  • Debug CI performance bottlenecks, runner issues, and pipeline misconfigurations in real-time customer environments
  • Capture customer feedback and advocate for product features that accelerate adoption
  • Support account expansion by identifying technical opportunities and ensuring smooth handoffs to post-sales teams
  • Educate customers on CI best practices, GitHub Actions optimization, and cost reduction strategies

  • Cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • DevOps and containerization experience
  • Log reading and technical troubleshooting abilities
