About this role

Black Canyon Consulting seeks a Full-Stack Developer to support the National Library of Medicine's DailyMed platform, a public health resource providing current drug labeling and medication information. You'll work on a web application serving patients, clinicians, and researchers with a focus on biomedical data and health information.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using Python, Django, and Angular
  • Implement and debug search functionality using Elasticsearch, Postgres, and Solr
  • Build containerized applications using Docker and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and Bamboo
  • Collaborate with the User Services and Collection Division team on biomedical literature and health data resources
  • Apply test-driven development and agile methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Support cloud infrastructure deployments on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms
