About this role

Big Leap Health is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to build technology that makes breakthrough mental health treatments accessible through insurance coverage. You'll own features end-to-end across the stack, shipping high-impact products at startup velocity while helping clinics and patients navigate innovative therapies.

What you'll do

  • Build and deploy end-to-end workflows from database design to user interface
  • Take full ownership of features from conception through production
  • Establish code quality standards and engineering patterns for a scaling team
  • Solve real-world problems across growing infrastructure and user base
  • Collaborate with customers (clinicians and practice managers) to understand pain points
  • Work across frontend, backend, and infrastructure technologies

What they're looking for

  • Full-stack web development (React, Vue, TypeScript, Node.js)
  • Database design and SQL (PostgreSQL)
  • Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, Firebase)
  • Docker and containerization
  • Strong communication and feedback incorporation
  • Ability to move quickly with incomplete information
  • Healthcare industry knowledge (preferred)
  • Side project or indie hacking experience
