Bevel, a leading AI health companion app with over 1 million downloads, is seeking a Backend Engineer to develop core infrastructure for processing health data and delivering personalized guidance. You'll own full-stack backend features, optimize AI/ML models, and help establish engineering best practices at a fast-growing NYC-based startup.
What you'll do
- Develop backend features across data infrastructure and product endpoints
- Design robust business logic for processing and analyzing health data
- Prototype and productionize AI/ML models to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Establish scalability, security, testing, and ML ops standards
- Run experiments to optimize model performance and system costs
- Shape engineering processes and contribute to team culture
