You'll build distributed systems, deployment infrastructure, and tooling that allow the entire company to leverage simulation capabilities for AI-powered heavy equipment automation.
What you'll do
- Integrate simulators into the cloud platform, managing deployment, packaging, instrumentation, and efficient scaling
- Establish reliable simulation workflows in CI/CD pipelines and maintain nightly sim jobs that gate releases
- Serve as the cloud team's liaison to simulation engineers, translating needs and removing workflow friction
- Design and implement distributed systems for simulator job orchestration and state management
- Build data pipelines and internal tooling that expose simulator capabilities across the company
- Evaluate and implement infrastructure for evolving simulation requirements
What they're looking for
- Python and API design
- AWS and cloud infrastructure
- Distributed systems (orchestration, state management, retries)
- gRPC and container orchestration
- CI/CD and deployment systems
- System instrumentation and observability
- Async programming patterns
- Cost and performance optimization
Benefits
- Work with cutting-edge autonomous systems technology deployed in real-world construction
- Collaborate with industry veterans from Waymo, Segment, and Uber Freight
