Developer Platform Engineer
About this role
Bedrock is seeking a Developer Platform Engineer to design and operate the CI/CD and developer infrastructure that powers their autonomous construction robotics company. You'll own the monorepo, GitHub automation, and build systems while partnering across engineering teams to eliminate friction and accelerate delivery.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain scalable CI/CD systems, source control workflows, and developer tooling
- Design self-service platform capabilities that reduce operational burden and standardize workflows
- Improve build reliability, reduce feedback cycles, and eliminate engineering bottlenecks
- Develop automation, policy enforcement, and governance mechanisms for organizational scaling
- Partner with engineering teams to identify pain points and deliver platform solutions
- Drive initiatives to improve developer experience, velocity, and software quality

- CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Buildkite, or similar)
- Monorepo tooling and architecture
- Python, Go, or TypeScript for production tooling
- GitHub API and webhooks at scale
- Systems thinking and organizational design
- Developer experience and productivity optimization
- Bazel (preferred)
- Test infrastructure and flaky test reduction
