Infrastructure Engineer
About this role
Bayesian Health seeks an Infrastructure Engineer to design and maintain cloud infrastructure for a healthcare AI platform while building CI/CD pipelines that enable development teams to ship faster. You'll ensure scalability, reliability, and compliance with healthcare regulations while supporting the company's growth in clinical AI/ML products.
What you'll do
- Design cost-optimized, fault-tolerant AWS infrastructure that scales reliably as the client base expands
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub for automated testing and deployment with regulatory compliance
- Create infrastructure guidelines and Terraform modules to establish best practices across the organization
- Monitor system performance, apply upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure reliability
- Implement security controls aligned with HIPAA, HITRUST, and FDA requirements for sensitive healthcare data
- Architect an internal AI Ops platform to host and manage AI/ML agents for infrastructure optimization

- AWS cloud infrastructure (5+ years production experience)
- Kubernetes and EKS cluster management
- Terraform and infrastructure-as-code
- PostgreSQL/MySQL administration and performance tuning
- CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI preferred)
- Datadog or similar observability tools
- PHI/PII data handling and healthcare compliance
- Cross-functional collaboration and communication
